A woman wrote to the Rebbe that she miscarried. The Rebbe told her to observe the family purity laws and she’d have a child. She had another miscarriage and told the Rebbe she observed the laws and yet she had a miscarriage. The Rebbe responded: When you’ll re-learn the laws again in greater detail you’ll become aware of some laws you didn’t observe. I’ll mention you again at the Tzion for a blessing.

The reason you had another miscarriage is:

1. You didn’t keep all family purity details.

2. Some great Jewish leaders were born after their mother had a miscarriage.

3. You, your husband or both of you said after you became pregnant, you regret keeping the family purity laws.

4. You both forgot that it is G-d who is the source of blessing one with a child.
