Grandson Returns to Kfar Chabad to Renovate Gan Moshe

Dozens of years ago, Kalman Levyant, who lives in the United States today, donated the gardens and paths around the main shul in Kfar Chabad in loving memory of his late father, Moshe ben Meir.

Several years ago, Reb Moshe’s grandson Vladimir Levyant of Moscow visited Kfar Chabad and the garden named after his grandfather.

He wanted to renovate the garden, and this week a memorial stone was put up. Vladimir intends to continue tending the memorial garden.

Vladimir’s daughter could not say why her uncle Kalman Levyant decided to memorialize her great-grandfather in Kfar Chabad, and so the reasons for this remain unknown.
