This week, around 100 camp directors gathered in 770, Kfar Chabad for a special training day to prepare them for the many summer day camps that Chabad will be running throughout Israel.
The event took place on the third floor of the building in the new library. Rabbi Menachem Kramer, a representative of the camps’ network, quoted the Rebbe’s teachings on using the summer vacation as an opportunity to teach Torah values to Jewish children.
Various senior day camp directors from the Education Ministry spoke about important issues, such as safety, security, effective administration, and more. Chabad’s camp network also presented various services that it offers, such as advice and guidance on running a camp, active forums, and purchasing shared equipment.
