This week, a special event was held at Yeshivas Tomchei Tmimim in Elad to celebrate the end of the year for Shiur Gimmel.
The young graduates are now moving on to leading yeshivas gedolos around the country. The evening was opened by emcee Rabbi Dov Halperin, who invited Tomim Shmuel Schneur to recite the end of Maseches Taanis, which had been studied at the yeshiva over the past year.
Tomim M.M. Holtzman recited the Dvar Malchus, including the sicha of the Rebbe about making a siyum on Maseches Taanis. He was followed by speakers from the yeshiva's administration, including Rabbi Yaakov Katan and Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Avraham Asher Belinow. Afterwards, parents' representative Rabbi Ido Weber praised the yeshiva for its hard work and wished it much success for the coming year.
After the speeches, the boys received certificates and sifrei kodesh as a reward for their efforts in their learning. With each boy, the emcee mentioned his specific achievements.
At the same time, the students who learned more than ten masechtos during their time in yeshiva each received a small edition of Shas as a prize for their efforts along with a small financial gift to purchase more sifrei Lodesh.(SOURCE & PHOTOS: COL.ORG.IL)
