VIDEO OF THE DAY: Rabbi Wineberg Farbrengs

In a connection with the passing of Rabbi Yosef Wineberg OBM, We present to you a video from 28th of Sivan  5770, from a Siyum of Tanya in the Oholei Torah Mesivta, on Troy Avenue.

The farbrengen was held in conjunction with a Siyum on Tanya for the bochurim of Shiur Gimmel who chazzered the entire Tanya Ba’al Peh. The event was organized by Rabbi Zushe Wilhelm, Dean of the Oholei Torah Mesivta.

That year was also 50 years since Rabbi Wineberg began the Shiurim on Tanya in Yiddish on the radio. The event was one of the last public farbrengens Rabbi Wineberg spoke at before he fell ill.

Rabbi Wineberg began by saying how pleasantly surprised he is to attend an event that is completely spoken in Yiddish, and how dear the  Shiurum B’Tanya was to the Rebbe  being it was written in said and printed in Yiddish.
