The Rebbe's Advice #1003 - Translating Rebbe’s Talks

You should consult your local Chabad activists. Generally, the translation should be a “Free Translation,” meaning not a verbatim one. This includes sometimes re-arranging the order of the paragraphs, as long as it’s based on what I said. It’s also acceptable for the translator to add his own brief explanations in the footnotes, not in the actual talk itself.
