The New Year Begins in Hadera

This morning, dozens of children began their new academic year at the Chabad Talmud Torah in Hadera.

The students of the cheder, including the children of the shluchim from the communities of Hadera, Givat Olga, Kfar Yonah, Kfar Monash, Caesarea, Zichron Yaakov, Ohr Akiva, Pardess Chana, Karkur, Givat Ada, Binyamina, and more filled the yard of the Talmud Torah today.

The boys and their parents were delighted to see the cheder’s new building and they were happy to see how much work the principal, Rabbi Yochanan Butman, has put into developing the Talmud Torah even further, with the help of the deputy director of Agudas Chassidei Chabad, Rabbi Shai Cherbinsky.

As so many of the children are from families on shlichus, as mentioned above, the first morning became an impromptu mini-convention. The shluchim said a lechaim and expressed their hopes for a successful new year.
