As the summer vacation progresses, dozens of day camps have been visiting the 770 replica in Kfar Chabad, the headquarters of Agudas Chassidei Chabad in Israel.
The program, which appears on a written invitation, includes a tour of 770, with an interesting overview of who uses the building, heartwarming stories about the Rebbe, watching a presentation about the Rebbe, learning a Chabad niggun, giving tzedakah and writing a pan, davening in the Rebbe’s room, a gift for each child, a seminar on sofrus, and activities for giving out Shabbos candles.
Rabbi Menachem Lattar, director of the 770 building, reported, “The visit to 770 acquaints the child with the personality of the Rebbe, leader of the generation, and gives him the Rebbe’s timeless message, while at the same time giving him a moving experience of the Rebbe’s beis medrash.”
