Sukkos in Tzefat

Every year, Kiryat Chabad in Tzefat organizes a huge Simchas Beis Hashoeivah.

Various attractions were held on Rav Kaplan Street, which is in the neighborhood of Givat Shoshana. These included special children’s activities and food stalls, and local residents opened their sukkahs to all, offering refreshments and drinks. Throughout the evening, a Chassidic band provided live music, and parents and children danced together happily. Throughout the city, children and adults gathered to take part in the Simchas Beis Hashoeivah. One of the highlights was a broadcast of, “Hapesukim Sheli,” which all of the children enjoyed. There was also a magic show and other celebrations.

The celebrations ended with a farbrengen in the Kaplan family sukkah, marking the birthday of the late head shliach Rabbi Aryeh Leib Kaplan.
