Students of Ramat Hasharon Midrash Take a Tour of Tzefat

A group from the Chabad midrasha in Ramat Hasharon took a Selichos tour of Tzefat last week.

The group included many Jews who recently started to take an interest in their heritage and attend a weekly shiur organized by the midrasha’s principal Rabbi Meir Abayov. The midrasha is part of the local Chabad House, the director of which is Rabbi Yehuda Butman.

“I feel as if I have come back from another world. You walk through the Old City, listen to the tones, smell the odors, and begin to understand the world of the tzaddikim of those times,” one of the participants later said.

During their time in Tzefat, the members of the group went to the kivrei tzaddikim, listened to divrei Torah, watched a klezmer concert, and did a tour of the Ascent Institute.

The visitors thanked Rabbi Ziv Katzavi, Rabbi Dovid Kurtz, and Rabbi Avraham Meshi Zahav for organizing the tour.
