On Monday night, a report on the population of Israel’s yishuvim and cities was released by the Department of Statistics.
Jerusalem is still Israel’s most populous city. In fact, the number of people living there has risen recently, from 788,052 at the end of 2010 to 804,355 today.
The second most populated city is Tel Aviv, with 404,336 residents today.
In third place is Haifa, with 270,348 residents, followed by Rishon Letzion with 232,410, Ashdod with 212,278, Petach Tikvah with 210,376, and Beersheva with 196,335.
Kfar Chabad is in 156th place. Last year, there were 5,105 residents, compared with 5,205 today.
