Shavuos 5771 in Crown Heights

CROWN HEIGHTS, NY (SHMAIS.COM) - Hundreds of guests from around the world including many Rabbonim celebrated Shavuos in Crown Heights. Thousands gathered in 770 for Tikkun Leil Shavuos.

Downstairs in 770 on the first night of Yom Tov Yankel Wilschanski Davened Maariv @ the Umud. Mendel Reizes davened Shachris @ the Umud . There were 2 Chasanim. Chaver Habadatz Rabbi Avrohom Osdoba got Aseres Hadibros and Rabbi Yossi Braun got Maftir. Shimon Herz Davened Mussaf @ the Umud.

In the Rebbe’s room on the first night of Yom Tov Moshe Markel Davened Maariv @ the Umud.  Motti Zigelboim Davened Shachris @ the Umud. Rabbi Ezriel Chaikin got Aseres Hadibros. Motti Zigelboim Davened Mussaf @ the Umud.

Beginning in the late afternoon and notwithstanding temperatures in the mid 90’s, thousands of Lubavitchers  went on Tahalucha. Nearly 200 Shuls in Sea Gate, Canarsie, Brighton Beach, Flatbush, Boro Park, Queens and parts of Manhattan were visited.

Downstairs in 770 on the 2nd night of Yom Tov Sholom Ber Benjaminson Davened Maariv @ the Umud. Tov Mottel Berkowitz  Shachris @ the Umud. There were 2 Chassanim. Fitche Raskin davened Mussaf @ the Umud.

In the Rebbe’s room on the second night of Yom Tov R’ Shpigelman Davened Maariv @ the Umud. Nochum Kaplan  davened Shachris @ the Umud and Moshe Berghoff davened Mussaf.

Before the end of Yom Tov there were Farbrengens downstairs and upstairs in 770 during which the Niggunim of the Rebbeim were sung and Maamorim Chazzered.

@ the Ohel for Yom Tov, there were lerech 100 people. There was Tahalucha to 15 nearby Shuls.
