Seven Years Since the Shliach’s Special Miracle

This year, the Chabad House in Gush Katif held a special farbrengen in Nitzan in honor of Yud Beis and Yud Gimmel Tammuz.

Rabbi Assi Spiegel told some very amazing stories about his life today, as well as about various tasks that the Rebbe gave him to do over the years as a shlichus. He also talked about the connection between the mesirus nefesh of the Rebbe Rayatz and the former residents of Gush Katif.

Everyone danced to Rabbi Spiegel’s guitar music and the organ played by Elkan Garfinkel. 

There was also another important reason for celebration, that evening. This year is the seventh anniversary of when Rabbi Yigal Kirschenszaft and his guest Rabbi Zev Rav Noy were struck by a mortar in Neve Dekalim, Gush Katif. Though both men were injured, they miraculously survived.

At the farbrengen, there was a live link to Rabbi Rav Noy in Los Angeles, and everyone made a lechaim to celebrate.
