The Chief Rabbi of Nachlat Har Chabad, Rabbi Yitzchok Yehuda Yuroslavsky, toured the local mikveh this week after it underwent months of intensive renovation work, costing more than NIS 4 million.
The second stage of the work has now been completed. Yanky Hoffman and Deputy Mayor Chaim Steiner, who did a lot to help with the renovations at city hall level, accompanied Rabbi Yuroslavsky. The visitors saw the new electric and water systems and the actual mikveh pool, which has been completely renovated, providing more comfort to users as well as halachic accuracy.
During last week’s Shabbos farbrengen at the shul in Nachlat Har Chabad, Rabbi Yuroslavsky praised everyone who had been involved in the renovation work, especially Yanky Hoffman, the main donor towards this project. Many residents, including people from outside the Chabad community, living in Kiryat Malachi, have thanked the donor for improving conditions at the local mikveh.
