Rebbe wore Shtreimel

The Previous Rebbe wore a shtreimel, fur hat, on Shabbos in Lubavitch only. He did this even during his father, the Rashab’s lifetime. Later when he moved to Poland he wore a Kulpik. This was the fur hat many Rebbe’s wore in Poland. A Kulpik is made from sable skin and is taller than the shtreimel.
