Portugal's Shliach to Deliver Dvar Torah at the Banquet

The Rebbe's Shliach to Lisbon, Portugal, Rabbi Eli Rosenfeld, will open this year's banquet by delivering a short, relevant Dvar Torah. Rabbi Eli, his wife Raizel, and their young children set out on a mission - to establish a Chabad House in Portugal, the last remaining country in Europe without a permanent residing Shliach.

The Rebbe and Rebbetzin fled burning Europe via the port in Lisbon. Only 70 years later the Rosenfelds returned as lamplighters to spread the light and warmth of Torah, Mitzvos and Chassidus.
