Poltava: Jewish Community celebrates inauguration

The inauguration of a brand new Synagogue and Torah Scroll, took place last Tuesday, in the city of Poltava, Ukraine. The Jewish Community celebrated and rejoiced the double ‘Simcha’ with singing and dancing and a festive dinner.

The inauguration ceremony of the “Beit Dovid & Rebecca Synagogue” and a the festive entering of the new Torah scroll, were attended by hundreds of Jewish community members from Poltava and the entire Region, friends and the donors.

During the Dinner, dignitaries, Rabbis and public figures delivered words of blessing to the Jewish Community now thriving.
