Pisgat Ze’ev Prepares for Shavuos

Dozens of kindergarten children in Pisgat Ze’ev, Jerusalem, gathered this morning for apseical rally organized by local shlucha Ayala Kalimian.

The children enjoyed a range of presentations prepared by counselors and listened to an explanation of the upcoming Yom Tov. They also read Torah verses, gave tzedakah, and sang songs.

The gabbai then came into the shul and opened the Aron Kodesh. Hundreds of children approached the sefer Torah to kiss it and think about receiving the Torah this week.
