PHOTOS: Oholei Torah Grand Tzeischem L’Sholom for the Talmidei HaShluchim

Isru Chag Simchas Torah was the Grand Tzeischem L’sholom for the 182 Talmidei Hashluchim who are going to 44 communities around the world. The event took place in the Raitport Beis Medrash, and was organized by Rabbi Nachman Schapiro, Menahel of Chassidus, and Rabbi Zalman Vilenkin, Assistant Mashpia.

Hatmimim Hashluchim, Menachem Mendel Elberg, Avraham Chaim Stern and Uriel Stern represented the various groups of Shluchim.

Guest speaker was Rabbi Levi Paris (Ram in London Mesivta) and spoke on behalf of the Yeshivos that accept the Shluchim, and with a heartfelt plea, he spoke of the great advantage of being a shliach of the Rebbe, and the great responsibility they have on the other talmidim in the yeshivas they are going to. On behalf of the parents Rabbi Dovid Sholom Pape and Rabbi Stern from Heichel Menachem spoke.

Rabbi Elchonon Lesches, Dean of the Beis Medrash said how this year 182 talmidim are going on shlichus, is the largest group ever to be sent from any Chabad yeshiva worldwide!

Following the official ceremonies the mashpi”im sat and farbrenged with the bochurim.
