As we enter the month of Marcheshvan, during which we commemorate the birthday of Rabbi Shalom DovBer Schneerson, fifth Lubavitcher Rebbe, we have been informed that an additional work of his has been published by Kehot: yet another Kuntres of Maamarim from the famous series, B’Shaah Shehikdimu—5672, is now available.
The fifth in the newly revised release of this classic, containing copious annotations, it contains Maamarim numbers 17-20 of the series, delivered on Shabbos Parashas Nitzavim, 5672 (1912), and Rosh Hashanah and Shabbos Shuvah, 5673.
Noteworthy indeed is the fact that in the first chapter of the Maamar dated the 2nd night of Rosh Hashanah, Rabbi Shalom DovBer presents a summary of all the 17 Maamarim of the series delivered throughout the previous year, from Shavous to Nitzavim.
The annotations contain explanations for certain points from other sources in Chasidus, and of particular note is the final comment on the Maamar beginning Zeh Hayom, where we find a long explanation given by Rebbe in his Maamar beginning Vehaya Bayom Hahu, 5728 (1967).
