New Building for Chassidus Library in Kiryat Gat

After 14 years of activities run by shliach Rabbi Menachem Mendel Meshi-Zahav, the Chabad library in Kiryat Gat has moved into a new building located in the chareidi neighborhood. This should help towards spreading the wellspring of Chassidus in the city.

The building was dedicated at a special chanukas habayis ceremony, attended by Chief Rabbi Moshe Havlin, Mayor Aviram Dahari, and local Rabbis. These guests were given the honor of putting up mezuzahs.

Every evening a kollel gathers to learn Chassidus with Rabbi Yehoshua Asher Rabinowitz. The library is going to include a reference room with every Kehot publication and a Torah database. Users will also be able to watch videos of the Rebbe.

The library operates under the auspices of the Chabad yeshiva in Kiryat Gat, which is run by Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Havlin with the help of Meir Vazna.
