Lipa Schmeltzer and More at the Simchas Beis Hashoeiva in Kfar Saba

Thousands of people enjoyed a grand Simchas Beis Hashoeiva in Kfar Saba, arranged by the local Chabad House, which is run by shliach Rabbi Aharon Kanievsky. It was held downtown, in the city’s main square.

The event opened with a vivid description of what the Simchas Beis Hashoeiva was like in the times of the Beis Hamikdash, followed by a video of a Simchas Beis Hashoeiva with the Rebbe. During the evening, local children recited the Twelve Pesukim with the crowd.

The whole area was overflowing as people watched a great performance by Lipa Schmeltzer that included a range of niggunim as well as his original compositions.

Mayor Yehuda Ben Chamo addressed the crowd and expressed his appreciation for Chabad’s activities in Kfar Saba, as well as praising Chabad shluchim around the world. Deputy Mayor Eitan Tzenani also blessed the crowd and thanked the Chabad House staff and administration for organizing such a special event. Also present were the director of the Religious Council Rabbi Sasson Trabelsi and Chief Rabbis Rabbi Ben Zion Kramer and Rabbi Yaniv Cohen.
