Learning Shechita in Tomchei Temimim

In Tomchei Temimim of Lubavitch the norm was for the older students to study to become Shochtim. This was because to be a Shochet, Jew Law stipulates one must be a true G-d Fearing Jew. The Temimim were true yirei shamayim, hence, the Rashab wanted them to be Shochtim later in life.
