This week, the Bar Mitzvah Center in Tzefat, which is run by the International Kabbalah Center, hosted around 500 schoolchildren from Kfar Vradim with their parents for a special Jewish spiritual experience centered on the theme of bar mitzvah.

The Bar Mitzvah Center runs dozens of events every year for young people from Israel and abroad. Hundreds of them flock to Tzefat for a unique spiritual experience in the summer. A special program is arranged in advance, and this is what led to a project called, “The City of Authors and Sages,’ including a multimedia presentation on Jewish themes.

The visitors toured various sites in Tzefat, including the studios of the Sofrim, Jewish music sites, a presentation of Kabbalistic art, tours of the ancient shuls in the city, and the Eshel Binyamin soup kitchen.
