FIRST DAYS SUKKOS 5773 IN CROWN HEIGHTS

CROWN HEIGHTS (SHMAIS.com) The guests keep on rolling in. Many more guests from around the world arrived for Sukkos still in time to experience Yom Tov & Chodesh Tishray in Beis Rabbeinu and Crown Heights  “Kan Tziva Hashem Es HaBrocha”.

There was very nice weather on the first day. However, on the second day  it was raining on and off from lerech 11:00am till after Yom Tov.

Simchas Bais Hashoayva in the streets of Crown Heights went on till the wee hours of the morning. In addition there were also many private farbrengens that were held in neighborhood Sukkahs.

On the first 2 days of Yom Tov, hundreds of Tmimim & Yungeleit went on Mivtza Lulav to over 500  locations all over the city. Special thanks to Noochie Gross and Menachem Gerlitzky for coordinating the Mivtzoim.

On the first night/day of Yom Tov, downstairs in 770, Luzer Kenig Davened Maariv @ the Umud, Mendel Reizes Davened  Shachris and Sholem Ber Sanowicz  Mussaf @ the Umud. In the Rebbe's room, Moshe Markel Davened Maariv @ the Umud, Yudke Edelkop Shachris & Yossi Lifshitz - Mussaf.

On the second night/day of Yom Tov, downstairs in 770,  Shloma Leib Abramowitz Davened Maariv @ the Umud, Shloma Leib Abramowitz - Shachris and Shimon Herz - Mussaf. In the Rebbe's room, Benzion Raskin Davened Maariv @ the Umud and Moshe Markel Davened Shachris and Yudke Edelkop - Mussaf.

@ the Ohel there were lerech 1200 people for Yom Tov. On both nights, Simchas Bais Hashoayva went on all night long. Mivtzoim took place on the first 2 days of Yom Tov to nearby hospitals and shopping centers.
