On Thursday, a fire broke out in the yard of a home in Kfar Chabad, close to some gas canisters.

Rabbi Binyamin Lifshitz, head of the Kfar Chabad local council, happened to be nearby and he immediately started putting out the fire, using a tractor with a water tank and hose that came from the store rooms belonging to the council. Within a short while, Kfar Chabad’s fire truck arrived on the scene, under the supervision of Yoel Belinitzky. With the help of fire service volunteers, the fire was put out quickly and easily.

Kfar Chabad’s branch of Hatzalah later reported that miraculously no one was hurt.
