Elul Mezuzah Project is Launched

With the month of ELul upon us, and in light of the Rebbe’s directive to check tefillin and mezuzahs at this time, the Chabad Youth Organization’s Shlichus Aid Center has launched a National Mezuzah Headquarters.

A call center that will operate through Elul will supply information to any Jew wishing to check his mezuzahs and tefillin in terms of halachos and ordering an inspection. Advertisements are being posted around the country, on notice boards and in mailboxes.

“There is no doubt that this project shows the joint power of the shluchim and will lead to an expansion of mivtza mezuzah throughout Israel,” reported Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Ahronov, head of the Chabad Youth Organization.
