Dozens of Pairs of Tefillin Distributed to Soldiers in Hebron

Dozens of pairs of tefillin were distributed this week to soldiers and security forces serving in Hebron. 

The distribution was organized by Rabbi Eliyahu Zikri and shliach Rabbi Shmuel Gorevitch of Lyon in France, together with Hebron shliach Rabbi Yossi Nachshon. The soldiers received the tefillin at a special ceremony at one of the IDF bases in the region. Also present were the shluchim from Kiryat Arba and Hebron. The soldiers will be able to keep the tefillin even after their tour of duty has finished.

Since Chabad of Lyon began their tefillin distribution project, more than 920 pairs of tefilillin have been given out.
