ROSH HASHANA  5773 IN CROWN HEIGHTS

CROWN HEIGHTS (SHMAIS.com) Rosh Hashana 5773 around Crown Heights saw thousands of guests from around the world along with the locals helping fill to all the Shuls to their respective capacities.

Monday was a beautiful day while Tuesday was windy with rain on and off all day.

There were extra police around 770, and Kingston Ave from President St till Eastern Parkway and the service lane in front of 770 were blocked for traffic after the tefillos. At the Rebbe's Ohel close to 600 Bochurim as well as Yungeleit spent Rosh Hashana.

On both days of Rosh Hashana hundreds of Tmimim & Anash went of Mivtza Shofar to hundreds of places around the city. The Mivtzoim was arranged by Menachem Gerlitzky / Kollel Tiferes Zekaynim Levi Yitzchok.

Those staying at the Ohel went throughout Queens and parts of Long Island on "Mivtza-Shofar".

On the 1st day of Rosh Hashana, all afternoon long men, women and children from all over Crown Heights streamed to 770 for Tashlich. The Tashlich on the plaza by the Vaiber Shul was in operation with fish and all. A new security fence was put in place to ensure that the fish stayed put and lived through the holiday

Boruch Hashem, during the Tefillos there were very little calls in 770 for Hatzolah.

Listed below are the Chazzonim in 770, Rebbe's Room and @ the Ohel.
