Children of the Hayovel Neighborhood Receive the Torah

This week, children from the kindergartens in the Hayovel neighborhood in Rechovot enjoyed a series of activities in time for Shavuos run by shliach Rabbi Shmuel Mendelson, with the help of a group of counselors from the Chabad girls’ school in Ness Tziona.

The children enjoyed a great program that included the Twelve Pesukim and an explanation of the significance of Shavuos, with a play performed by the counselors that included music and special lighting.

The kindergarten staff thanked the local Chabad House for the program, which was just one of many activities for young people and schoolchildren in the area.
