Children of Kiryat Arba Learn About the Shofar

Dozens of children from Kiryat Arba attended a workshop about the shofar today at Beis Chaya Mushka.

Shliach Rabbi Nissan Nachshon, Chabad House director in Efrat, showed the children how to make a shofar and its significance in terms of improving our middos on Rosh Hashanah.

At the same time, each child had the opportunity to prepare his own shofar by cutting a piece of the ram’s horn. Rabbi Nachshon also explained each step of the process carefully, and Rabbi Victor Attiyah told stories about the month of Elul.

The parents were delighted with the workshop as it made the concepts of Elul and shofar even more real to their children.
