Chief Rabbi Lau & South African Shliach Chosen to address Kinnus Hashluchim

In an email sent Monday night on behalf of the Vaad HaKinus, Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky announced the names of those selected to deliver the keynote addresses during the upcoming Kinus Hashluchim.

Rabbi Ari Shishler, Director of Chabad of Strathavon, South Africa, will represent his fellow shluchim and deliver the keynote address at the Kinus Hashluchim Gala Banquet this year.

Rabbi Shishler, along with his wife Naomi, founded the Chabad Center in Strathavon -- a neighborhood of Johannesburg -- in 1999. Their center has since grown exponentially, bringing the light of Torah and Chassidus to many thousands in Srathavon and beyond. Mr. Steven Solarsh a prominent entrepreneur and founding member and supporter of Chabad of Strathavon, South Africa will join Rabbi Shishler in addressing the banquet.

Chief Rabbi Yisroel Meir Lau will be guest speaker at the banquet. Rabbi Lau will share inspirational moments of his longtime and special relationship with the Rebbe during his decades-long service in the Israeli Rabbinate.
