Magen David Adom sent an emergency force to Burgas in Bulgaria to help the victims of yesterday’s terror attack on an Israeli tourist bus at the city’s airport.
The force received an initial picture of the situation, including the number of casualties and the kinds of injuries that the victims received. They traveled to the hospital in Burgas to evaluate which patients are returning home and how.
Like other terror attacks, the motive behind this latest atrocity was to harm the victims simply because they are Jews. Dozens of victims are arriving at Ben-Gurion airport, from where they will be transported to hospitals for further treatment.
Israel’s Chabad shluchim are preparing to help the victims, their families, and the loved ones of those who were killed in the attack.
Rabbi Menachem Kutner, director of Chabad’s Terror Victims Project, reported that volunteers and shluchim will be visiting the injured at the hospitals in order to show solidarity and find out exactly how they can help.
The shluchim are also organizing visits to the families of those who were killed r"l.
