Can a school involve its students in learning for twelve hours straight on the first night of Shavuos? Can the Shluchim Office in New York arrange Chasidim to transcend time zones to unite in learning with those across the globe? With the Shluchim Online School, we can – and we did; this past Shavuos!

Students from Florida, Venezuela, Washington, New Mexico, Canada, Iowa, Ohio, Arizona, Paraguay, Australia, Colorado, Israel, Pennsylvania and others, joined together for a 12-hour learn-a-thon. This was the titled, “Campaign Nishma.”

While the Freedman family was lighting up Argentina, the Wolvovsky's were learning from their home in California. While the Raitports were pouring over the provided learning from their home in Venezuela, the Ezagui, Hahn and Silverberg families were learning in the USA. Such was the case with all the families involved.

In addition to the “Nishma” campaign, the learning aspect, the students also participated in a “Naaseh” campaign. They called and emailed their friends, inviting them to listen to the Aseres Hadibros. Hundreds of Jewish children worldwide were invited to their Shuls by the Online School students.
