On Wednesday, 15th Tammuz, the children of the mechinah level of the Talmud Torah in Kfar Chabad and their parents enjoyed a Siddur party with their teachers Mendy Elroy and Meir Moshashvili.

The program included a show about various tefillos – Shacharis, Mincha, Maariv, Tefillas Haderech, and a tefillah for Geula.

There was dancing and singing, under the capable direction of Guy Cohen, while Shachar Sher was the emcee.

During the past year, the children learned chapter 32 of Tanya by heart. At the Siddur party, ten boys recited the chapter in front of the parents. Rabbi Ashkenazy then gave the children a blessing and each boy received the gift of a Siddur.

Afterwards, the parents and children watched a video about a typical day at Talmud Torah and some of the things that they have done over the year. The party concluded with the boys dancing on their fathers’ shoulders.
