A Dinner for Chabad of Ohr Yehudah

On Sunday, a special dinner and tribute evening was held for Chabad of Ohr Yehudah, which is run by shliach Rabbi Menachem Mendel Friedman.

The Chabad institutions in Ohr Yehudah include a Chabad center, kindergarten, and yeshiva ketana and yeshiva gedolah, which are run by Rabbi Sholom Dovber Hendel.

The evening included a special program and an artistic presentation, as well as a public sale at which various items that once belonged to the Rebbe were auctioned off. The emcee was Rabbi Dov Halperin.

A large crowd came to pay tribute to the directors of these institutions, including the local mayor, various public futures, and many more distinguished guests. Certificates of merit were distributed to friends and supporters of Chabad.

The guest of honor was Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger. Musical entertainment was provided by the Ahavas Yisrael choir, conducted by Sholom Kinouri.(SOURCE & PHOTOS: COL.ORG.IL)
