A Bar Mitzvah on Water in Tiberias

This year, the student shluchim in Tiberias ran a special summer camp for around 40 local boys of bar mitzvah age.

From the morning until late in the evening, the boys enjoyed a great program that included interesting studies and activities on a Jewish theme.

The boys were encouraged to put on tefillin every day and daven. They learned many important Jewish themes in a fun and positive way.

Each day, the boys went on outings around the country.

The camp was one of several run by the shliach at the Chabad House of Tiberias, Rabbi Yosef Kramer. Many parents had asked for this camp after seeing the positive effects that these programs have on teenage boys in the city, and many more registered than originally expected.
