During Chol Hamoed Pesach, a succession of Torah rallies organized by the Chabad Youth Organization was held in Jerusalem at the Heichal Levi Yitzchok Shul in Shikkun Chabad.
Every year, these kinnusim are held during Chol Hamoed Pesach and Sukkos in accordance with a directive from the Rebbe given in 5758. In recent years, they have also taken place on all of the festivals to allow even more Torah scholars to participate.
This year a range of speakers was present at the rallies, including Rabbi Zalman Nechemia Goldberg of the Beis Din Hagadol and Rosh Kollel of Daas Moshe Sadigura, Rabbi Moshe Dovid Perlman, Rosh Yeshiva of Luzern, Switzerland, and Rabbi Naftali Roth, leader of the Chabad community in Mattersdorf-Itry, Jerusalem. The crowd enjoyed the speeches and shiurim, after which they studied the daily Rambam lesson.
Rabbi Naftali Roth, director of Chabad’s Center for Chassidic Education, and Rabbi Asher Solomon of Jerusalem arranged the rallies.
Pesach concluded with a “tahlucha” in accordance with the Rebbe’s directives, in which dozens of people walked to various shuls in the city center, where they held Moshiach seudos, using the opportunity to speak about strengthening faith in the approach of Geulah.
